Veda Peters is a Raleigh native who spent many years in Northern Virginia before making her way back to the Raleigh area. She has been licensed since 2009 and has been active in property management and sales at the Outer Banks, assisting out-of-town homeowners with the management of their vacation rental homes as well as helping others achieve the goal of home ownership.
Veda’s goal is to assist her owners with the marketing of their properties to obtain the best rental rate with the highest qualified tenant. When maintenance issues do arise, she wants to achieve the best possible solution for her property owners. Veda has experience in sales as well as property management and if owners/investors consider any change in their investment portfolio, she is available to assist with a new purchase or sale. She is broker-in-charge eligible and has a BS degree in Human Services Counseling with a minor in Business Administration from Old Dominion University.
On a personal note, she and her husband have owned a Bed and Breakfast (B&B) on the Outer Banks since 2005. She enjoys going to the beach, looking for sea glass, attending concerts and sporting events, and traveling with friends and family. Her husband is retired from the Army Corps of Engineers, her daughter and granddaughter live on the Outer Banks, and her son is a Wake Forest University graduate who is now a 2LT in the Army reserves.
